He proudly speaks of the relationships both he and his company have built and maintained over the years. Building a second, third and even fourth home for the same family is a common practice for Steve, and such relationships are the type he relishes.

"There is no better reward than knowing in your heart that you have given your best and hearing from the customer that they are happy with the experience with your firm," Steve says.

Steve's passion is being a part of the design of a new home, contributing to the creation of a better product.

"It's important to constantly seek a better way to utilize the property and its elements," he says. "It's exciting to work with people to create something special."

"We work hard, but we have fun when we work," Steve says. "Our customers have fun, too."

Since 1979, Steve has been a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the Texas Association of Home Builders, as well as the local association, the Greater Houston Builder Association.

Steve and his wife, Connie, will celebrate their 39^th wedding anniversary in April 2005. They have three sons and four grandchildren.

"Being a son, a grandson, a husband, a father, a father-in-law, and a grandfather - I understand relationships," he says. "Believe me, relationships are not only important to a family, they're part of what makes a home."

"It's essential to understand all the different energies that come together among family members to create the home that will shelter them."
